08:26 AM ET 11.16 | An up-and-down season sees its home finale for Missouri this weekend, when the Tigers be without star defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson against Syracuse. Multiple sources told The Star on Thursday night that Richardson has been suspended for Saturday's game for a "violation of team rules." The infraction is not legal or NCAA related, and the suspension is expected to last one game. ... Richardson, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound junior, has been one of Missouri's best and most disruptive players on defense this season, leading the Tigers with a team-high 70 tackles (9 1/2 for loss). His suspension would leave a void in the middle of the defense Saturday, when the Tigers, 5-5, go for bowl eligibility.

It won't matter. They aren't very good this year.

Wish this had happened this time last week. Might have made a difference. But probably not, Tenn is self-destructive at the end of games. Forgot how to win.

well...they did clobber Louisville.

Btw, Cuse ooc games: Northwestern, USC, Stony Brook, Minnesota and Missouri. Not a bad slate of games. I wish more teams would schedule this way. Despite being in the Big Least, they still had in conference games against Rutgers, Cincy and Louisville. If this team were a bit better this is a schedule that would definitely have gotten them some credits in the rankings.

Is this the same guy who popped off about the SEC earlier this year before Mizzou had played an SEC game?

WTFJJ was up with running the clock out at the end of the game????!!!!????

You got stud WR's a stud QB, good field position and 2 time-outs and you take a knee!!!

WTFJJ was Dooley thinking? I was a innocent bystander and I was pizzed off of UtK coaches for not trying to win in regulation. If that were my alma mater, I would have been climbing the wall
