02:59 PM ET 11.16 | Mizzou looks likely to be without both its top defender, Sheldon Richardson, and its top special teams weapon and second all-purpose yardage man, Marcus Murphy. The Tigers are 5-5 and look like they'll need a win against equally desperate Syracuse for a bowl bid in their first SEC season, especially with mighty Texas A&M up after that.

Anyone want to provide a semi-intelligent breakdown of the match-up?

November 16, 2012  03:40 PM ET

Mizzou is in big trouble against Cuse this weekend. Damn Mizzou is terrible this year, right at the bottom of the SEC with Miss, Kentucky, Arky, Tennessee and Auburn!!!

It's a bit odd to see the adjective "mighty" used in direct reference to eaTme.

What the hell does LK have to do with this??? Didn't/don't the Vols have a AD, or was LK the AD too??. Actually most of the blame should go onto the AD. Granted LK can take a little of the blame, but don't you think it should start at the "very" top???

Dont let us down Misery

They should be ok. Syracuse had their one 'rise up and beat the %$&@# out of someone' game last week against L'ville. They're usually good for a letdown after that.

Whoa! Haven't you heard? Knocking off Alabama has granted them the status of greatest college team EVER, and "Johnny Football" will win the next four Heisman's.

November 17, 2012  01:06 AM ET

Wait. Am I allowed to say "Johnny Football" without paying him royalties? Damn! I did it AGAIN!

Check's in the mail, Johnny.
