05:32 PM ET 11.16 | Has Magic Johnson finally moved past the Los Angeles Lakers' decision to hire Mike D'Antoni over Phil Jackson? Two days after sending cryptic tweets about the situation, the former Lakers great is now trying his best to embrace the new Lakers coach. "The decision's been made that D'Antoni is the coach so we must support him. I appreciate him reaching out to me & look forward to speaking," he tweeted.

Isn't that exactly what Magic said too? So what do you mean "slammed him". he didn't say anything negative about Mike, just said they should have chosen Phil, which is really obvious.

The lakers will NOT be a bust. They might not win a ring, but they might no have with Phil either. I think hiring Phil would have guaranteed keeping Howard, but not so much right now.

There are some rumors about J Smith for Gasol trade. if that happens then Mike's system would work, and Howard will re-sign also since Smith and him are pals.
