10:34 AM ET 11.17 | Former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue is aiming for extensive bounty hearings beginning Nov. 30, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Sources said, it has been communicated to the players involved that whistle-blower Mike Cerullo, a former Saints employee at the core of the claims against the players and coaches, and former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will both attend and testify. Cerullo has indicated to the league he would take part, but Williams has rejected repeated overtures to do so and continues to do so, sources say.

The NFL's proof a disgruntled ex-Saints employee, "a lyning **** snitch". Greg Williams refusal to take part in Goodell's cronie ex-commish Tag's NFL backed farce interview process is laughable and I applaud Williams refusal with regards to this stunt. Yeah, this is the NFL's proof.

Leverage. Williams wants the NFL to shorten his ban. He's like any criminal who is asked to testify for the prosecution: "What's in it for me?"

Maybe he wants to coach college football in the future.

He doesn't need to testify. A sworn statement signed is all you need. Besides, the taped meeting is very damning.

Not even Congress can make you testify. Besides why am I paying taxes to mediate a corporate dispute? Whatever happens Congress better keep there nose out of it.

Look, one more time. It was the cover up, not the crime. The crime was found out in 2009. The lie by the HC, DC, and GM that they had stopped it was told years later.
You did not hear a squeak when Payton, Williams, and the GM were handed down their punishments. And nothing from the owner. They had no defense.
This case is closed.

Back when this mess first came out, there were some that suggested this could lead to criminal charges, as those involved conspired to do physical harm to players on other teams. As the wound is re-opened in another very high-profile investigation, that possibility surfaces again.
If I were Greg Williams, I wouldn't say another word. If I were Greg Williams's lawyer, I'd advise him not to say another word.
Of course, if I were Greg Williams I wouldn't have done anything this stupid.

As this crap drags on, I think less and less of the Saints and their organization. It makes me sick to see Vilma playing and making his accusations against others. Gregg Williams made his statement, now he is waffling, I hope Taglibue not only upholds the suspensions, but makes them life long for these idiots.
Mangler.
