10:48 AM ET 11.17 | Myck Kabongo is headed for Hawaii. Whether he'll play any basketball there is yet to be determined. A Texas official said Friday that Kabongo, a sophomore point guard whose eligibility is being investigated by the NCAA, was cleared to travel with the rest of the Longhorns to the Maui Invitational. But Kabongo still won't be able to play until his case is resolved. The Longhorns (2-0) open the three-day tournament against Chaminade on Monday. They departed for Maui on Friday morning. UT continues to cooperate with the NCAA on its inquiry, which is related to who paid for an offseason trip Kabongo took to Cleveland, where he reportedly worked out with a professional trainer.

From what I've read of the 'violation' and investigation, it seems like a whole lot of nothing. Let the kid play!
