A&M launches Heisman campaign for Johnny Manziel

10:54 AM ET 11.17 | Texas A&M Aggies freshman sensation Johnny Manziel is gaining momentum in the race for the Heisman Trophy and the school's athletic department has finally got behind the man they call "Johnny Football." Because of team rules, Manziel isn't allowed to talk to the media because of his freshman status, so his face isn't getting out there and he isn't having an opportunity to make his case for college football's most prestigious award. On Friday, Texas A&M officially launched their Heisman campaign for Manziel with a video titled, "The Amazing Johnny Football." The video's description read, "Without a doubt, Johnny 'Football' Manziel is best candidate for this year's Heisman Trophy Award."
