08:51 PM ET 11.17 | Will Lane Kiffin return after USC lost to cross-town rival UCLA and became the first preseason No. 1 to lose four games since 1984? He sure will, says the man himself, who says he's gotten the assurance of his boss. The Trojans will likely be remembered as one of the most disappointing teams of all time, but return a load of talent and have even more coming in.

I am ok with Lane coming back. Monte, however needs to go. The talent we have on D, to be playing so horrible is unacceptable.

Woould Monte keep his job if USC beats ND next week?

A season of disappointment should not over-ride one night's good outcome. I am with ICE, the guy just isn't getting it done.

Nope. Monte doesn't seem to be able to handle the spread. With more teams in our conference running it now, we need a DC who knows how to handle it.

And if this pic of LK becomes the one the mods prefer, I am guessing I will lose at least 10-15 pounds due to the total loss of appetite every time I see it.

Not going to happen, so deal with Monte's future without delusional dreams.
Haven't been as conflicted all season as I was watchig UCLA beat up on USC.
Wanted to save that for ND. Also wanted to see ND beat down a rated team. Now SC is gone to nowhereville.
Matt Barkley is a quality QB who shoudl get his chance in the NFL. He lacks an offensive line who can help him and a defensive group who can stop the opponents.

SERIOUSLY?!

How bad does that jackhole have to embarrass that once-proud program, before the Trogan faithful will call for his head? Yes, he can recruit. I'll give him that. But as a coach? He has INVENTED new ways to suck!

Time for the powers that be at U$C to admit their GIGANTIC mistake, and cut their losses.

I have always said he still has much to learn as a coach, no doubt about it. But if a 4 loss season is as bad as it ever gets, then I will take it. You think the people at aub, arky, or tenn would like to have our record right now??? Bet your **** they would.

If he keeps pulling in 4's and 5's, I think we give him another year. If we don't see progress next year, then running him would make more sense.

The climate being what it is, if we get embarrassed by he domers next week, then yeah, he is probably out.

I'm not too sure why Kiffin was all of a sudden thought of as a genius. He won some games last year. So did a lot of other coaches.

Not if their team was ranked #1 coming into the season.

The Trogans will finish the regular season with 5 losses. It's not like this is his first year as a head coach. Sooner or later, someone at U$C is gonna have to man up, and admit that they made a terrible mistake.

I don't remember anyone calling him a genius. He has shown at times he can be a good coach (last years duck and domer games come to mind). But he also has a ways to go. If he can catch up to how he recruits??? Life would be real good.

If Haden decided to run his **** off, it wouldn't bother me in the least.
