08:53 AM ET 11.18 | Jets owner Woody Johnson interacts with players, coaches and front-office executives on a regular basis, but this time it was different. Deeply concerned about the direction of the team after a 3-6 start, Johnson called in all the key members of his football operation Tuesday to discuss ways to turn the season around. He and team president Neil Glat met for about 45 minutes with general manager Mike Tannenbaum, coach Rex Ryan, offensive coordinator Tony Sparano, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine and special-teams coordinator Mike Westhoff at the team's practice facility in Florham Park, N.J., in an effort to get the team headed in the right direction. Johnson is not believed to have issued any sort of ultimatum to anyone in the meeting.

Two Jets threads!?!

Hey, I know all you guys watched the Irish yesterday, but did anyone else see Baylor or Stanford? It was great!

Congrats on the win Stu... USC is next. I can't wait to watch that game!

I believe that's three. Media coverage of disasters these days are pretty good.

Woody should have fired the entire bunch at that meeting, then sold the club

That would have ruined Thanksgiving.

Wait until New Years... that's when the house-cleaning will begin.

Then again, the Patriots might take care of that Thursday night.

This has got to be one of the more interesting meetings this sports nation has ever been privy to, a assembly of morons, fools, and tools discussing lunacy. New York City in its glorified history have never had an assembly of embarrassment such as this spectacle........very unamazing!

QUOTE(#8):

there is no solution -they are undermanned, their offense plays scared, their o-line can't block, they can't tackle or get to the qb their offensive coordinator doesn't understand that any good team has an offensive flow/rhythm , that yanking the qb out at in-opportune times is STUPID

And those are thier good pointsLOL

I did not see the Wake Forest game.

I did watch Baylor take down #1 and caught the end of Stanford taking down #2.

I wish I could confidently say #1 will go down next week... but I have nothing there.

Enjoy, Stu.

Thanks, Otis. It's been a long time since the Irish were a real contender. I'm blown away by this year. I never thought we would get by Oklahoma, but here we are.

I have been a jet fan forever and even in the rich Kotite years- I 've had at least a little hope....I see nothing that I can say- ' wow- at least we're set here for the next few years'even revis- with his big injury- might not be the same this team needs to be gutted

It is sad to see, even as a Pats fan. Would like to see them contend, pull together rather than self-destruct from the inside out. Major top down changes must be made ASAP.

LA fans deserve a dysfunctional team like the Jets.
