Rasheed Wallace wants to coach?

10:01 AM ET 11.18 | Rasheed Wallace's friends agree Knicks coach Mike Woodson had everything to do with Wallace's return. And they say Rasheed might be considering getting into coaching. "I know for a fact that's his aspiration," says Bo Donaldson. "He loves to teach. I can see him as an NBA assistant. That's what it'll have to be for him." The idea of Wallace as a coach has been discussed before -- there's even a "Coach Sheed Movement" -- but it was quickly met with jokes about him getting tossed out of every game 30 seconds after the end of the national anthem. Yet this version of Sheed seems different. There have only been a handful of games, but they've passed without an outburst or flare-up. (At least until Friday night's technical foul.) He's more calm now," says Donaldson. "Stepping away has helped him a lot."

Unlike some other moron who've past thru the NBA and some that are there presently, Sheed has maintained and managed his present worth (ova 60mil) rather smartly. When speaking he comes across as very astute and needless to say, he understands basketball (No. Carolina, Pistons Championship teams) and so there is no legitimate reason why I can't see him being able to coach if thats truly his desire. Another ex-Piston who also excelled at coaching is Bill Lambeer so there is presedence here! I like Sheed, do whatcha do baby!

If the team includes JR, Starbury, Artest, Barnes, Cousins - then yeah, Sheed will be an ideal fit to coach.

Would you say that about Bill Lambeer or Rick Mahorn.........they exhibited the same attitude, if not worst than Sheed. Oh no, a gunius like you would probably give them a pass and say glowing things in relation to them. Sheed is nobody's idiot, but somehow when you don't even know the guy you display disdain for him.

Sheed has been great for us this year-

Sheed is no Lambeer or Mahorn.

Have you even ever hear Lambeer speak vs Sheed speaking? It's not just about throwing an attitude. Coaching is a LOT more than just that.
Sheed is a good player, a poor sportsman, and a terrible guy to be on the bench.
smh

Sheed never stop surprising

He would preach the power of the technical foul so his Coaching Style would require a very Deep team.
