Why Tom Brady will likely go off on Colts

10:49 AM ET 11.18 | All week long, the quarterback talk was focused on someone other than Tom Brady. Instead, all the hype and buildup for today's Patriots-Colts showdown has surrounded Indianapolis' rookie phenom, Andrew Luck. The Patriots star has barely been in the discussion. He hasn't registered a blip on the attention meter. It's been all Luck, all the time. While it hasn't been quite as insane as when the Pats played Tim Tebow last year for the first time in Denver, or even the second time around at Gillette Stadium in the divisional round of the playoffs, don't be surprised if all the Luck chatter triggers something in the forgotten man. It's weeks like these, when Brady is rendered an afterthought, and all the attention is on the other guy, that he tends to come up with some of his best performances. That first game against Tebow, when Tebowmania was rampant? All Brady did was hit on 23-of-34 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-23 win. The second Tebow bout with the Broncos in the playoffs -- when Tebowmania was at its height, following the miracle overtime win against Pittsburgh?

+1,000,000!

If the Irish can beat USC this year, that would be the ultimate icing on the cake. I don't think there is any rivalry as good as that one.

Boston press is quite funny....trying to make Brady seem like an after thought...the only way Brady becomes an after thought is if someone breaks his leg.....

That should easily be the game of the weekend.

Bucs at Panthers, or Jags at Texans... slim pickings for the early games.

At least I get Cots at Pats for the late game.
