07:06 PM ET 11.18 | Dallas Cowboys' left tackle Tyron Smith suffered a high ankle sprain in the team's 23-20 win over the Cleveland Brownson Sunday. Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport that he is "a little positive" about the status of Smith's injury, as the lineman was trying to come back into the game. However, high ankle sprains tend to be a bit more serious than normal sprains, usually requiring double the amount of rest. Smith was injured late in the first quarter, and was taken to the locker room for X-rays shortly thereafter. He was replaced by Jermey Parnell, who had only seen a few snaps prior to Sunday, mostly on short-yardage plays.
