10:19 PM ET 11.18 | When LeBron James and the Miami Heat took on the Phoenix Suns, the ballers from South Beach needed all the help they could get as King James was dealing with an illness. Luckily for Miami, forward Chris Bosh decided to step up and give the Heat the offensive boost they needed. Following the game, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra provided some high praise for his power forward even going as far as to say that Bosh is more important than Dwyane Wade or LeBron. "He is our most important player, and he's as steady and consistent as he always has been for the last two-and-a-half years," Spoelstra said. "He makes it look easy and he makes it look quiet, and yet he's so impactful in the game. He was big under the rim and not just his scoring, but the big plays defensively at the end." Is Bosh really more important to the Heat than LeBron or D-Wade?

Completely agree. Bosh is not their most talented player but he's the one who makes everything work. His rebounding is often overlooked but sorely missed when he isn't around, and he clears the paint and allows lebron and wade to attack and drive the basket. Without bosh i doubt they they win the championship last year or going forward.

Maybe Bosh playing well is really more important than Lebron and Wade, as they're constantly putting up big numbers, the only real factor here is Bosh playing well or not. So, yes, he's the winning factor in this team, but, no, he's not the player to single out when they do win.

Does it take a rocket scientist to figure this out? No....so all you posters, no one wants to see posts saying "yeah I agree" or "yeah I completely agree with you" or "this is my take on it, Bosh does seems to be the most important player", just to sound good to one another. Stop it, stop it, pulling on one another strap is not impressive......Apple is never that!

Take Lebron off Heat right now -- how many games do they win ?

Lebron is still their most important player. He completely carried them in a couple of recent wins. (not just scoring ... controlling the ball, distributing, etc.) He kept setting up Battier, Lewis & Cole. Bosh will never control the game like that.

That's an odd comment (typo?) --- you don't remember when the Heat beat the Pacers to advance to the ECF that Bosh was hurt and didn't play ?
Bosh also only played about 2-1/2 games vs. Boston.
The question is not "would the Heat have won it without Bosh?" The article didn't bring that up.
The article said "Bosh is our most important player".
I definitely think Lebron is -- not Bosh.
