07:58 AM ET 11.19 | When Michigan Wolverines star running back Fitz Toussaint went down early in the team's game against Iowa State, he was carted off the field wearing an air cast and reports indicated that he had suffered a broken leg. While the exact nature of Toussaint's injury has not been revealed, Michigan head coach Brady Hoke has confirmed that the team's running back will miss the remainder of the season. Toussaint underwent surgery on his injured left leg. "It was heartbreaking to see Fitz in so much pain like that," Wolverines quarterback Devin Gardner, via mlive.com. "Fitz is a really tough guy, and I've never seen his face grimacing like that. I pray he'll be all right. I prayed as soon as I saw him down. I just started to pray and hopefully, he'll be fine." Toussaint was a big part of the Wolverines' rushing attack and will finish the season ranking near the top of the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns with 514 and five, respectively.

This game will be ugly. Denard's funeral . . . Ohio State's crowning national championship game. Thank you AP.

Actually, Shoelace having a bum shoulder helps TSUN for the tOSU game. The new QB has a more accurate arm, can scramble a bit, and will take off downfield if nothing else is open. "D-man" can line up in the backfield, in the slot, or wide out. The Angry Weasels will miss a proven back, no doubt, but they'll bring weapons and questions which the Buckeyes will have to suss out during the game.
