08:02 AM ET 11.19 | After his team's 38-17 loss to New Orleans, Raiders owner Mark Davis visited the locker room and met with GM Reggie McKenzie and coach Dennis Allen before talking to reporters. "I apologize to the fans," he said. "I'm embarrassed for 'em. Because they live and die as Raiders fans, and I feel for 'em, I really do. And we're gonna get it right. If it's for anybody, it's for them. I feel the same way. I'm a fan. And I take responsibility for it, gonna get it right." The Raiders are 3-7 and have been outscored 135-69 the last three weeks. ... Davis was asked if first-year general manager Reggie McKenzie and coach Dennis Allen get a pass this season? "I wouldn't call it a pass. They've got contracts, they're gonna be here."

They weren't going to fix this mess in a year...

Patience.

He just doesn't have that Son of Dracula persona, does he?

He inherited a mess, including the loss of draft picks in questionable trades. They've got a long way to go.

First step... rid themselves of Carson Palmer

They have so many holes to fill with so few drafts and not alot of cap room. This is going to a slow rebuild. UGH

I know.. I know... trade Palmer and their Offensive line + a 1st round, 2nd round, and a couple of 3rd round picks in 2013. for RG III.

I don't get to see a lot of Raider games. The NFL has decided people in the NFC north must want to watch Denver every week for some reason so we miss a lot of good football.
With that said, I see in many games Palmer did ok but the D just stunk it up something awful. Second McFadden should change his name to McBroken. He is always hurt. His consistency is he is never available.
This team has talent. The only happy camper has to be Prior who is probably struting around trying to get noticed as in, hey I can turn this around. No I wouldn't blame Palmer for this teams poor performance.

The Redskins aren't falling for that.

It wasnt a mess. We were 8-8 and headed in the right direction with Hue. They created this mess that it is now. All we needed was a DC

Palmer's INTs have cost them games.

Palmer's the reason we have been in games. The defense has cost us games

I saw that headline and thought Al had risen from the grave over what's going on with his beloved Ray-dahs.

One, it wouldn't surprise me if that happened. Two, Al would pretty much look the same as he did, if not better after getting some rest.

Maybe Mr. Davis should have well enough alone with last years staff and players and dealt with salary cap penalties. They may have been a winning team this year rather than a door mat. It boils down to poor coaching and management.
