Lin: Under D'Antoni, Linsanity would have continued

08:05 AM ET 11.19 | The comet that was Linsanity could have had a longer tail. If Mike D'Antoni, who is expected to make his Lakers coaching debut Sunday night, still were coaching in New York, then Jeremy Lin probably still would be playing at the Garden. So says Lin. Of course, it's all theoretical and nothing can be claimed with certainty, but the man behind "Linsanity," the pun-laden fervor that swept across the globe last season, said Sunday it's likely he would still be running D'Antoni's system. Lin left the Knicks after they declined to match Houston's three-year, $25 million offer sheet in the off-season. And D'Antoni already had re-signed by then. "If he was still there, honestly, I would guess I'd have a higher chance of being there," Lin said [Sunday].

No one is really interested in your bogus ass Jeremy Love or Dumbtoni's bogus ass either. Look at Love's shinning moments this year, and that dreadfull loser Dumbtoni. Both you suckers shutty and keep is moving.

All I care about is the w's &L's and with 2 key pieces on the shelf, we are playing solid ball

This is stupid. I think I speak for all Knicks fans when I say we wish Lin the best in Houston, and that we are very much over him. He gave us some excitement last season but that's it. He's the Rocket's problem now. D'antoni and he were ours guys when they were, but now that they're not, we don't care a rat's anus about what either one of them do. Go with God gentlemen. This is NYC. Things happen fast here. Unless or until an article like this comes out, we've forgotten you exist at this point.

Who is this Lin kid again? He was a NYK? LOL...Dude, we are so over you....move along. Ur not a story anymore in HOU, we gave you your fame buddy.

If he re-created the Lin sanity there in Houston, then his comments are warrented. But there is no Lin-sanity there.. so stop commenting about the Knicks..

It should be obvious to all that Linsanity was a brief aberration. Lin is shooting 34% for the 4 and 6 Rockets. He turns the ball over far too often and can't defend anyone.

+1000

Lin is irrelevant. A 3rd tier talent, getting 1st tier press.

Let it go Man, let it go.

Solid Post...

I said after Lin went away that there would be more Lin stories coming of NY than Houston (not sure if that's correct so far :-)

But is Lin on the team anymore? Is D'Antoni the coach anymore (why was he fired again?)...

The NY Post should focus it's efforts on Stories that matter.

Here come the excuses, man just accept the fact that you were never as good as the media suggested and now that you have a chance to prove that you indeed are. You have declined to do so. James Harden is doing his job AND yours in Houston right now while you turn the ball over and air ball three pointers.
