08:18 AM ET 11.19 | Finally, the game so many players and fans circle on the schedule, is here, as No. 16 Oregon State is set to host No. 5 Oregon. Coaches can preach all they want about a 0-0 season each week and not looking ahead, but when it comes to rivalries, well, they're a constant. "Throughout the year you always think about that game," said OSU senior cornerback Jordan Poyer. "You see (the Ducks) on TV and you think, 'We can play with these guys.'" ... [Native Oregonian Poyer] grew up understanding what the Civil War means to players, coaches and diehard fans. Everyone is rooting for someone this week. He gets that. And after four years of frustration, Beavers fans might finally have a reason to celebrate at the end of this one.

And the bulletin board material is what?

I was thinking the same thing. Problem here is that OSUw does not have Stanfords D!

Rivalry game and they both have enough motivation to play each other...bulletin board material doesn't matter rivalry games IMHO.

If the Beavers can keep the spread under control, they have a chance at finishing on top. The Ducks will have to stiffen their resolve in order to score on those angry Beavers. ;-)

Don't see any here but those that throw out bulletin board material usually have it come back to bite them in the arse. Ask the clown from Missouri that said Georgia played old man football. How did that work out for him and his team?

I do believe the Ducks are up to the challenge and will pound it in the Beavers end zone before the game is over.

Comments like this are why we need a bowl game matching Oregon State and South Carolina!

Still remember when U$C came to town and we had the Trojans playing a team coached by 2 Nutts (Houston and Danny). We benched one QB (Johnson) for a new kid named Casey Dick.

ESPN couldn't pan the student section, with two Nutts, a Johnson and a Dick playing the Trojans, none of the signs were acceptible for TV

He said... you lost to the TREES...You lost to the TREES...hahahahaha

Speaking of which, auburn's trees caught on fire after they rolled them after the win against Alabama A&M.

They blame Alabama fans...

This is the third time they have caught on fire after being rolled.

Oh, and they also rolled their trees when we lost to Texas A&M.

Trying to fire up the team for the Iron Bowl...

No offense to JK, of course, but I will be going back to my roots and pulling for Aubie in this one.

AU beats, UA, UF beats FSU, UA beats UGa, and UF can be in the big game. IT COULD HAPPEN, BOYS!!!

OK, I know, that first step may be the toughest.... 8-(

U need tech to beat uga and then uga bet Bama.....more likely than AU beating anyone. On top of that you need Stanford to beat ucla and/or th Beavs to beat Oregon. Oh yeah and you have to beat FSU like you said. Lots of in and outs and what have yous there.

Or you could just go online and sign this petition to the President to get the Ohio State University pardoned so that they can play the Domers in a battle of undefeateds. We appreciate your support. Just copy and paste the link and sign away.

I know, but let a guy dream, willya? ;-)

You guys control your destiny. We let our chance get away, no way around it. Like I've said before, we have had a much better season than anticipated, so I'll take it.
