08:29 AM ET 11.19 | The closest thing to NHL hockey over the weekend took place in Minnesota, where more than 11,000 fans took the chance to watch the Wild's AHL affiliate and catch a glimpse of the franchise's future -- a good part of which belongs to Charlie Coyle. In 16 games for the Aeros, Coyle leads with seven goals and is tied for the team lead with 13 points. He helped set up the first of Johan Larsson's two goals in a 3-2 victory over Rockford on Sunday. ... Coyle is not the only blue-chip prospect under [John Torchetti's] tutelage in Houston. Mikael Granlund and Jonas Brodin were outstanding before getting injured eight games ago. And then there are [Jason Zucker], Larsson, Brett Bulmer and [Zack Phillips].

I thought for sure we'd have been inundated with stories about how the scabs are dominating the KHL and other Euro leagues by now Harry. Let's face it those leagues are equivalent talent wise to the IHL or some random Major Junior League in Canada and the top tier NHL should be dominating without breaking a sweat.
