12:52 PM ET 11.19 | Ron Rivera will likely remain the head coach of the Carolina Panthers through the rest of the season. "Ron Rivera says based on his conversations with Jerry Richardson, he will coach through the season at a minimum," the Charlotte Observer wrote. Rivera has coached the Panthers to a 2-8 record this season. Carolina has lost seven of its last eight, including two in a row with a 27-21 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Under Rivera in two seasons, the Panthers are 8-18. They finished third in the NFC South last season and sit last in the NFC South this season.

Yes. I'm trying to look for a silver lining. Gronk's had some nagging boo-boos, nothing to keep him out of games, but he's not 100%. This will let him rehab everything while the arm heals. He can still run and do cardio stuff, so once the arm is back he should be ready to go.

How would you like to be a little girly-man safety and see Gronk coming at you, weilding a cast-covered arm like a club?

Rivera is probably still pinching himself about this season.

He's desperately trying to wake up.

He looks like Airwolf. But his team plays more like Airbarf.

No reason to can him in the middle of the season, it's not like anyone else on the Panthers coaching staff has a clue anyways. Except for maybe McDermott.
