02:13 PM ET 11.19 | Dana White says he'll be able to pull off one of the biggest fights in UFC history - UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre vs. UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. "It's the No. 1 best pound-for-pound fighter in the world against the No. 2 best pound-for-pound fighter in the world,??? White told Fox Sports. "It's a big fight. We think people want to see it, and we think the guys want to do it, so we'll do it. They will fight, and it will probably be in May or around May."

GSP is running scared... just listen to the post fight interview and you'll see he wants nothing to do with Silva... Dude just got back from a 9 month layoff and he's talking vacation...

Hahahaha.....Indeed.

I was not all that impressed with GSP. Really didnt get much done while ontop of Condit with the exception of the one elbow.

Agreed

GSP knows all too well which one of them is #1 and which is #2. GSP was one punch away after the kick from going down whereas Condit was never really in trouble.

GSP has said before he's leery of the weight difference. He thinks Silva matches up better with Jones and I'm inclined to agree. And he didn't take a 19 month vacation, he's been working nonstop for 19 months. I can understand him wanting a break. A normal fighter only has a 2 month camp. Rehab is more more physically and mentally demanding.

He hasn't been working nonstop for 19 months... that's BS... he's been rehabbing which isn't as intense as training for a fight and maybe doing TV work... He doesn't need anymore vacation time, he's just buying time because if he doesn't fight Silva which we all know he doesn't want to he'll more then likely get KTFO by Hendricks and he's trying to prep and delay either outcome as long as possible...

Yeah, i've not been much impressed with gsp in his last several fights. when was the last time he finished a fight early?? while i still think silva would win the fight.....gsp's style might pose a problem for silva. takedown then stay busy on top by throwing essentially ineffective blows....boring!!
