02:23 PM ET 11.19 | Rodrigo Damm isn't the only one who thought he won his fight against Antonio Carvalho. Damm claims UFC matchmaker Joe Silva agreed with him. Damm lost the fight via split decision. "I'm satisfied that I was doing well in the fight. Pato is a tough guy and I showed my evolution in the striking department. I'm only saddened by the outcome, but now I have to continue training hard to come back better next time,??? he says. ???When I left the Octagon, Joe Silva told me that I had won, and also told me to keep working and that's what I'm gonna do."

I had him behind in a very close fight. I don't think he did enough to win, but I would have been OK with a split decision the other way.
