04:17 PM ET 11.19 | After seriously injuring his leg in the fourth game of the year, Oregon State senior center Angus Brandt was ruled out for the remainder of the 2012-13 season by Beavers head coach Craig Robinson on Sunday night. The 6'10 big man's campaign opened with a great deal of promise due to his expanded role in Oregon State's offense as both a perimeter shooter and post scorer, and he responded immediately with three strong performances to open the year. The unfortunate injury against Purdue on Friday ultimately strips Robinson of one of the most versatile centers in the Pac-12 this season however, and it will force Brandt to work his way back from a serious injury for the first time in his collegiate career.
