04:51 AM ET 11.20 | It was speculated earlier this week that Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel could play in Saturday's mega-matchup with rival Florida State, and head coach Will Muschamp confirmed as much late on Monday. Driskel will indeed play against the Seminoles but it's not known to what extent he'll be featured as the Gators battle for a shot at the SEC title and a possible shot at a National Championship. Florida is likely going to need all the offensive fire power they can muster, as the Seminoles of Florida State come in as the 10th ranked team in the BCS and statistically has one of the best defenses in all of college football. Gators backup Jacoby Brissett started for the injured Driskel last week against Jacksonville State and was less than impressive against a subpar opponent.

If you didn't like the 2011 'Bama/LSU regular season game, you'll probably hate this one.

I think Brissett will start... shirt hook if he isnt playing well... Boom making them prepare for 2 QBs.. if Driskel cant play

Boom is making FSU prepare for a mobile QB and a drop back guy.

Time for Pease to get creative in the gameplanning and playcalling departments.

Doesn't matter, 'Noles win this one.

Brissett may have been unimpressive in Saturday's game, but has Driskel been impressive at any point?

I am not saying we blow this game open. Our offense has been a bit inconsistent as well, and both Ds can smother the opponent. A couple bad plays on O or ST for us and UF could easily win this game. But I'd be shocked if either of their QBs was primarily responsible for winning the game.

I can't believe the Noles are an 8 point favorite in this game.
Guess the polls have it wrong?

You've got it backwards. Boom is making TWO quarterbacks try to prepare for the best defense in the nation.

Uh, no. Unlike 'Bama and LSU, Florida and FSU don't play "three yards and a cloud of dust" offense. And we can both play defense as well. This won't be some 9-6 game...but if it is, then we have the edge. Dustin Hopkins is the best kicker in the nation. His "range" is about 60 yards.
