Race to be No. 1 pick wide open

07:34 AM ET 11.20 | By just about this time last year, it seemed the likely No. 1 pick in this past summer's draft had been locked up by Anthony Davis. This year, it's different. As one assistant GM of a likely lottery team said, "Whoever is the No. 1 pick, he'll play himself into it this year. I don't think it will ever be a clear-cut choice." As one Western Conference executive was leaving Barclays on Monday night, he knew he'd have to see Shabazz Muhammad over and over this season. After watching [Cody Zeller] and Muhammad, he did have a suspicion about this spring's draft. "I think you're going to see a team who gets that first overall pick who will seriously think about trading down and moving out of it."

Well my Pistons are looking like they may have to take a long look at this Shabazz kid...we have no need for Zeller. Hope someone emerges at the 2 or 3 position cause we are hurting there.

Last year at this time, it wasn't obvious that Davis would be #1 pick also. (I remember Kidd-Gilchrist & Drummond were highly ranked also.) It is hard to tell about Freshman.

Give it a couple of months -- someone will emerge.

That's the way the rules are written. The connection between college and sports needs to end.

If i was using ebonis then it would be that, but since I am using English its is that's as in (that is). If you wnated to hit me on rammer you should have hit me on not including the ' between that and the s.

If it is between Zeller and Muhammad, take the advice of Wesley Snipes.

There's no one that good this year. I've said it a million times, NBA needs to follow the NFL's lead and have a minimum three year year rule so we get good players coming coming out, ready to contribute.....

There is no reason not to trade down/out if the right guy isn't thereHaven't seen shazam play yet, but if he's an athletic freak with no skill....puff, puff, pass.

He is actually quite the opposite, very highly skilled kid with good not great athleticism and an even better motor. Inside out type of guy, his game stretches beyond the three point line. They say he works constantly on improving his game. I have seen him play maybe four or five times and my knock on the kid is his shot selection. I feel he needs to let the game come to him a little more often. Worth a top pick? TBD in my opinion.

I think you really missed the point of the post you quoted, he was agreeing with the post above his. You are using a form of English, but you may want to go back and look again at your post I am quoting.
