07:41 AM ET 11.20 | Another round of dominoes may again leave the Big East scrambling. Boise State, San Diego State and BYU have had conversations with Mountain West membership about the possibility of returning to the league, sources told ESPN. The talks originated after last week's decision in Denver by the BCS commissioners to award an automatic access bowl berth to the highest-rated champion to the "Group of Five" conferences. That decision in essence put the Mountain West on equal footing, as far as playoff access is concerned, with the Big East starting in 2014. ... With the Big East losing two more schools and having the same playoff access as the Mountain West, Boise State and San Diego State are reconsidering their options.

I think it's time to go ahead with the 4 super uper duper conferences and be done with it.
After the 60 minutes show Sunday, it may end up 22 schools in the Financially Sound Conference (aka in the BLACK)and the rest in the Financially Insolvent Conference (aka in the RED)

I saw that show. The Maryland move may lead to FSU and Clemson rumors back to the B12.... Would make sense to give WVU some near proximity conference foes and get back to 12 with a title game!
