07:46 AM ET 11.20 | Kris Versteeg pulled no punches Monday. [Versteeg] fired the latest salvo in the verbal battle between the NHL and the NHL Players' Association. The Florida Panthers forward brought this fight to a new low when he suggested on TSN Radio in Toronto before Monday night's CBA bargaining session that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and deputy Bill Daly are "cancers." ... [Versteeg] said once a collective bargaining agreement is done, Bettman and Daly should be removed from their respective jobs. "I'm really frustrated. It's not good," said Versteeg. "You do try to look at the best-case scenarios moving forward once the CBA does get done and you've got to look for the cancers and you've got to cut out cancers."

The Butt-Plug and his lap dog sounds better to me because, you know, you can cure and get rid of some cancers.

Lockout aside, do you really think Bettman and Daly have been good for the game? I can't think of a worse sports commissioner than Bettman. He has no connection for the game, no love for the game, no respect for it's history or traditions. Even if there were no lockouts on his watch, he has still hurt the game with the changes he has made.

LMAO. I agree too Phantom. (God it hurt to say that). But, even though I despise the Dwarf........I don't like Fehr (or his brother) any better). Both sides, always, are trying to 'win". There are no winners. :-(

ATOs (all the others) that play in the league and the ancillary jobholders that go with hockey are the ones being screwed. Twas ever thus.

and yet Versteeg would probably cry like a schoolgirl if Bettman would say about him. Regardless of how I feel about everyone involved, I think that the ridiculous name calling has no place in the labour negotiation process. It doesnt add anything.
