01:42 PM ET 11.20 | Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan confirmed on Monday that linebacker London Fletcher suffered an ankle sprain in Sunday's 31-6 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, but said that he expects Fletcher to play on Thursday. At his Monday media conference, Shanahan called the sprain "a concern" for Fletcher's status this week, but said that, "knowing him, he'll be back out there though." Fletcher had one of his best games of the year in Sunday's victory, recording 12 tackles, nine of them solo. It will be a quick turnaround for Fletcher to get healthy as the Redskins are back in action on Thursday, playing a Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Kick him in the other ankle so he doesn't limp. London's gonna be fine.
