MWC teams sticking with Big East?

04:26 PM ET 11.20 | San Diego State continues to adamantly deny a report that it, along with Boise State and BYU, are considering going back to the Mountain West due to realignment and the new playoff structure. With Rutgers and possibly Louisville or UConn leaving the Big East, it has to look less attractive as a destination, and the playoffs will give the MWC just as much access as they will the Big East.

Would prefer MWC, but our AD seems hell bent on the BE. Either way we should do pretty good next year. Since basically every conference other than ACC/P12/B1G/B12/SEC is treated the same for the big bowls now the smaller conferences would be smarter to stick to geographical boundries IMHO.

One other thing- for BSU and SDSU the MWC would also remain the home for all the other sports teams, vice the crappy Big West. More of a big deal for SDSU than BSU though, as the other teams in Bronco land all pretty much suck.
