Dan Hawkins back in coaching?

04:32 PM ET 11.20 | Mike Price will retire at UTEP, and three of the first names to hit the carousel rumor circuit are Dan Hawkins, Dave Yost and Brian Polian. Hawkins is the former Boise State coach who couldn't get it going at Colorado (and once famously dropped the word "intramurals" in a press conference), Yost is the wild-haired spread guru at Mizzou and Polian has coached special teams at Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Stanford.

UTEP got some benefit out Price after it looked like he was washed up, it might work with Hawkins.
