07:17 PM ET 11.20 | Let the Mike D'Antoni era begin in LA. The new Los Angeles Lakers coach will indeed return to the sidelines for Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets, marking the first time he will coach a game since being hired to replace Mike Brown. D'Antoni has not been on the bench for the past two weeks because he has been rehabbing from offseason knee replacement surgery. In his absence, interim coach Bernie Bickerstaff compiled a 4-1 record during the first five games of a six-game homestand.
