02:17 AM ET 11.21 | The New England Patriots received some good news on Tuesday night. All reports indicate that the team will see the return of tight end Aaron Hernandez for their Thanksgiving matchup against the division rival New York Jets. NFL Network reporter Albert Breer passed along the news today via Twitter: Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez will play Thursday, barring any late setbacks, and despite being limited today. Hernandez has been out since mid-October. It will be a very happy Thanksgiving for the Patriots who will see the return of Hernandez less than one week after losing Rob Gronkowski for an extended period of time after the Gronk suffered a broken arm in the team's blowout win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Hernandez is pretty damn good and is an adequate replacement for Gronk in the short term.

Gronkowski is a football player and Belichick is among the many great coaches who believe in putting your lots of your best players on special teams units. If you had even the slightest clue about football you wouldn't need me to explain this to you.
