Ohio State fan petitions to have bowl ban lifted

07:49 AM ET 11.21 | There is little doubt that one of the top college football programs in the nation is the Ohio State Buckeys. The Buckeyes are undefeated and clinched the Big Ten Leaders division title with their win last weekend over Wisconsin. Unfortunately for the Buckeyes and their fans, a postseason ban prevents then from playing for the Big Ten title and a share of the national championship. One Buckeyes fan is not pleased with the postseason ban facing the Buckeyes and he has gone to extreme measures in an attempt to have the ban lifted. The Ohio State fan sent a petition to President Barack Obama in hopes of having the ban pardoned. The petition was eventually removed from whitehouse.gov for violating terms of participation. I will admit that I signed it (I was #471) on Sunday within 2 hrs of the petitions' creation. Don't know how many sigs it got. Did it just to be the general anarchist that I am in the CF world. Let chaos rule.
How bout this scenario. I have not heard any pundits pose this but it is possible.
What if Ga Tech upsets GA; GA goes on to beat Bama in the SEC championship game; FL goes down to da Noles . . . then who will play Notre Dame.
If you really want to get crazy same scenario above but ND loses to U$C. Then who plays in the NC game??? I have not heard these discussed anywhere.

The criminals that were at fault all left last year and were allowed to lose a bowl game. This team, nor coach were even involved, yet are punished. How does that make sense? NCAA reasoning is extremely flawed.
