07:54 AM ET 11.21 | The South Carolina Gamecocks will be facing one of their toughest challenges when they line up and try to stop the Clemson Tigers offense on Saturday night. Unfortunately for the Gamecocks, they could be without one of the top defensive players in the nation when they take on Clemson. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who missed last week's game against Wofford with an injured right foot, could once again be on the shelf. South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier spoke with the media on Tuesday and spoke on Clowney's status. According to Spurrier, the team will be taking a wait-and-see approach with their defensive star. Anytime you lose a player of Clowney's caliber, it is a devastating blow, especially when the team you are facing averages 535.6 yards per game, which is tied for sixth in the nation.

I like these end of the year SEC-ACC in state rivalry games. I wish we had something similar in the B1G. As soon as Delaney gets done screwing the CFB landscape, I'll have him get working on this. ;-)

I believe that Jadeveon has been slowed a good part of the season with an injury. If he is healthy, the guy is a beast.

You are gonna get your wish Sparty. You can finish every year with either Rutgers or Maryland.

BB9, I don't think you get the point. You guys could have an in state rivalry game with Cincinnati from the Big East, Penn State could take on Pitt, etc. We just need to get it regularly scheduled.
