01:32 PM ET 11.21 | Kobe Bryant and Gerald Wallace apparently had a little bit of fun in the closing seconds of the Los Angeles Lakers' 95-90 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. Wallace began talking to Bryant as he was trying to ice the game at the free-throw line, and Bryant was jawing back. Afterwards, Wallace revealed that he was trying to get Bryant to shoot the free throws with his eyes closed, a la Michael Jordan. Bryant was willing to do it, but only for a steep cost. "I had to make a big bet," Wallace said. "So I told him just shoot the free throws."

QUOTE(#3):

While I don't see Brooklyn winning a title this year I wouldn't go so far as to call them weak. I mean they are certainly no Miami Heat, but they are also no Cleveland Cavaliers either.Avery Johnson should be fired and then never hired to head coach in the NBA again.

That firing is coming.

gear up.....Phil??
