05:31 PM ET 11.21 | Since Notre Dame agreed to join the ACC, the conference has lost only its second school ever (Maryland to the Big Ten) and looks to be in danger of losing others, perhaps to the SEC or Big 12. Are the Irish having second thoughts about their new conference home? Their president: "We're really happy in the ACC. But I am concerned about continual instability of this conference situation."

Hiya, BB. Piratey says ND doesn't want to associate with the heathen B1G anyway due to their stance on stem-cell research.

That's okay we will just continue to send Purdue over to kick their **** every couple of years.

You can be mad that the girl you jilted starts dating other guys. Nor should you be surprised that the girl you are dating has a few flaws.

If ND keeps fielding winning teams in the major college sports then they will have plenty of conference options without giving up football independence. The media plus for most conferences is undeniable.
Relax, chill, folks, it's not a crises, just a period of adjustment. ND will handle it, just like they will handle Alabama!

There is a reason that the ACC was willing to take in ND on their terms... desperation. The ACC may not be stable. I read a story where the B1G was looking at Georgia Tech and/or Virginia. Florida State is eyeballing the SEC. The Domers need to join the B1G before they get to 16 then all bets are off. They probably would prefer the Big 12 who isn't an equal-sharing league. But with the BTN the B1G is where they belong... stem cell research or not.

ND is bringing down conferences left and right. First the Big East has folks leaving, now the ACC. Not sure B1G wants to "pseudo" add them and then watch everyone leave.

Does anyone else think that this avi pic is weird?
