05:44 PM ET 11.21 | The very short Darko Milcic era in Boston is officially over. The Celtics have waived Milicic to allow him to return home to tend to a "personal matter," the team announced on Wednesday. Milicic left the team a few days ago to be with his ailing mother back in Europe. He played in a total of just five preseason and regular-season games this season.
