O'Neill takes Bettman bashing to new low

08:26 AM ET 11.22 | So much for Cory Schneider's plea that players tone down their personal rhetoric. [A] former NHLer launched an additional verbal assault against the league's top boss Wednesday afternoon. "I have friends in the media and respect their work a ton," Jeff O'Neill tweeted from his verified Twitter account, "but the reporting of zero in this lockout is crazy." Twenty minutes later O'Neill returned to the web, adding to the ongoing war of words against the NHL's perennial bad guy. "And (Gary) Bettman stop talking to the media. I wanna 'make whole' in your (F------) head," he wrote. ... O'Neill later removed the tweet from his personal account. He followed that up with an apology: "My last tweet was inappropriate. Someone hacked my acct."

the only thing Bettman cares about is screwing the fans over,he toyed with the emotions of Winnipeg Jets fans for 16 years before they were given another city's team,to me that just shows how cold and heartless that uncaring little s-hit really is,each individual sport (NHL,NBA,NFL,MLB) needs to have someone who actually PLAYED THE GOD DAMN GAME at the head of it,instead of a businessman who only gives 2 s-**** about the money they make,rather than the current shape of the game they govern,OR its future

Is he saying that the media is NOT reporting on this lockout? Does he live in Miami, Phoenix, Tampa, Anaheim or some other non-hockey place, because I am sick of hearing about it from the Toronto media.
