08:16 AM ET 11.23 | Among a list that includes the likes of do-everything QB Jordan Lynch at Northern Illinois, Baylor WR Terrance Williams (more than 1,500 yards receiving and an average of nearly 20 per catch) and Texas A&M sack machine Damontre Moore, Louisiana Tech quarterback Colby Cameron may stand alone. The pilot of the nation's leading offense (581 yards per game) threw 27 touchdown passes with -- are you ready for this? -- zero interceptions; no quarterback in history had thrown as many times as Cameron without giving one to the other team. Cameron threw his first two picks of the season in a loss last week to Utah State. The Bulldogs have exceeded 50 points eight times. It's no wonder they're 9-2.

Kid's good. If he played at a school in one of the big conferences he'd be getting a lot of press.

Probably, and he'd have a lot better O-line and receivers than he does at LT to attack with.

he would also have to play against real football teams.

...and again, he would have a much, much better supporting cast...unless he was at one of those teams OT listed. LT is probably better than them.

IMO, I don't see a 8-3 record, with a chance to finish the regular season at 9-3, as "sucking".

LMFAO, no my friend, Washington State, Missouri, Kentucky, Arky, Auburn, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Ole Miss are "NOT" an upgrade from LT, "THIS YEAR"!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if you want to keep beating a dead horse, let's go.
You posted on the boards that MSU's opponents ahve a record of 62-58 to show that their schedule so far has not been that bad.
Let's look at that schedule a bit closer.
In their three losses, they have lost by a combined score of 113-37.
Now for their 8 wins.
The opponents in their 8 wins have a combined record of 34-53.
Four of those 8 wins were against teams not in a Big 6 Conference (Jackson State (7-4 record); Troy (5-6 record); South ALabama (2-9 record); Mid-Tenn (7-3 record).
Their other four wins were against the absolute bottom of the barrel SEC teams:
Auburn (3-8 record, with the three wins against Alabama A&M, New Mexico State, Louisiana-Monroe)
Kentucky (2-9 record, with the two wins against Samford, Kent State)
Tennessee (4-7 record, with the four wins against Georgia State, Akron, Troy, NC State)
Arkansas (4-7 record, with the four wins against Jackson State, Tulsa, Auburn, Kentucky)
So, of the teams that they have beaten, only 3 of the 34 victories that their opponents have were against Big 6 conference Teams, and two of those were against each other (Arky's wins against Auburb and Kentucky).
Face it D2....with an 8-3 record and playing in the mighty SEC, Miss State should be in the top 25....and I notice that they are not in the BCS Top 25.
Just remember, they have only played THREE teams all year that can be considered to be even remotely decent teams, and they were outscored in those games 113-37.
So tell us all again how great the Bulldogs are!

This is all the UTK fans needed to see with Dooley. The team he leaves gets much better, the team he goes to gets much worse.

Joe, come on now!!! Go back and read the previous comments about Miss State. No one and I mean "NO ONE" said that Miss State is a "GREAT" team this year!!!! If they beat Miss this weekend, Miss State will finish the regular season at 9-3. Do you consider that a "BAD" season???
