Big East one defection away from dissolving

So, will they split up between the ACC and B12?

Who cares? Conference realignment sucks.

Big 12 would not take Temple, USF possible, but still do not see that one either. They didnt want Louisville or Cincy the last go around either. Only way any of those teams come to the B12 is if FSU and Possibly Clemson are in the mix as well!

I'm thinking they like the round robin schedule option that having 10 teams provides. Don't have to "dodge" anyone at the whim of the schedule makers.

And the LHN doesn't seem to be as big an issue as it was.

From a program stand point, Temple sucks but if it's all about media markets and viewers, Philadelphia is huge. Because of it's location I think USF is a sleeping giant. I just don't see Cincy and Louisville being independent islands that nobody wants. I don't know if they have the academic standing to be absorbed by the ACC or BIG 10 so that basically leaves the BIG 12 to join WVA.

Rattler, I could see USF as long as someone else comes along with them. I am sure the B12 would love to get into that market simply for recruiting. The Stoops bro's are already recruiting in FLA hard the last two years and did get one or two. They are spreading the wealth going to Cali and other areas too to try and stop being so dependent on TX for players!

The powers that be in the Buckeye state will never let Cincy into the B1G.

just make football conferences separate from all other conferences...easy fix.
