09:08 PM ET 11.23 | It was just another typical Thanksgiving game for Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Following the Lions' loss to the Houston Texans, Suh was the center of discussion after his foot connected to Texans quarterback Matt Schaub's groin. It's the second straight year that Suh's foot was the topic of discussion. Suh tripped to the ground and swung his foot directly into Schaub's groin. Here is a GIF of the play that is being perceived as dirty. Check it out on FanSided.com

I wonder if they will use Jenna Jameson as a special consultant.

He was recently named the league's dirtiest player for the second year in a row. He's got a good start on the three-peat.

Unless you believe a persons natural reaction when falling to the ground is to kick your leg up in a scissors motion and jerk your knee and foot in a kicking motion, then what is there to discuss?

I'm not a big fan of this neandrathug, but I don't think he could even see where he is said to have been aiming. The angle was wrong. I think it was an accident that he'll have to pay for due to his reputation as a steaming pile.

You could be right, but I just do not remember guys hitting the ground using the same reflex. It should happen 100 times a game then. Matters not, you are right about his history being the determining factor.

What good comes from that game is that the league will finally do away with that silly flag rule on a score. The goal is to get the call right, not the technicality.

The new rule that irritates me most is the review of all scoring plays. It's just typical corporate overkill. Just review the questionable ones and keep the game moving along.

Just watched the video again. Suh knew where Schaub was as he was falling. The kick was no question intentional. This guy's a thug and he gonna seriously hurt someone if they don't find a way to dial him back.

I really enjoyed watching his game when he was at Nebraska and when he first got to the league. But, man, he's such a dirty punk. I like hard-nosed, aggressive football, but this crap that Suh pulls is classless. He better watch out; some lineman is going to hit him low on a chop block or blind side him and take him out for a few games. I say, give the man a taste of his own medicine and see how he likes it.

By the way, anyone else going to watch Notre Dame tonight? I know I am! Go Irish!

No, that was the one thing that made me watch the replay a few more times. It seemed an odd reflex. I still say he couldn't see where he was kicking, but knowing what a POS this future OJ cellmate is I would not be surprised if he launched the foot on purpose and landed the shot just by luck. Either way I won't shed any tears if the creep gets suspended. It's like when a serial killer gets executed for the one murder he didn't really commit. Hard to work up much sympathy.

I understand the reason for the penalty is to keep teams from getting an extra time out, but it still don't make it right. Still I can't see the league doing anything about it until next years owners meeting

Agreed. If the coach throws the flag at the wrong time, take away a timeout. Allowing an obviously wrong call to stand because of a rule like that is just stupid.

Suh's nothing but a punk,.......where's the veteran [police] leadership in the locker-room [like the patriots have]?.......THERE IS NONE !

Getting the call " right " should trump all else.

If Suh's reaction was normal, then there would be 50 players a game getting kicked in the cohones and every player would wear a custom made bullet proof lined cup.
