09:08 AM ET 11.24 | The Dolphins thought playing in a no-huddle offense would make Ryan Tannehill more proficient in two-minute drills. But Tannehill has the league's worst numbers in the final two minutes of halves: 8 for 24 for 102 yards, no touchdowns, four interceptions and an 8.0 rating. He has a 45.8 rating in overtime. "That's the thing that makes quarterbacks [great] - at the end of the half, at the end of the game," said Colts interim coach Bruce Arians, talking about Andrew Luck and not Tannehill. "You will your team to win. All-Star players have it." ESPN analyst and former Colts general manager Bill Polian said off the air that "you look past" Tannehill's late-game struggles "for two reasons: One -- he's a rookie and has to learn in those situations. And two -- you have to protect him."

How about "he's just not that good to begin with?" Along with the rest of the team.

They've beaten the Raiders, the Bengals, the Rams and the Jets. A team that far below .500 needs to work on fundamentals, not push their offense beyond its limits with a no-huddle.

Hmm, I'm not sure we know that the no huddle hasn't helped, since he might have gone 0 for 24 with 6 int's without the extra practice.

Learning to play QB at the pro level can take awhile.
