06:48 PM ET 11.24 | The Cleveland Browns planned on a giveaway item for Sunday's game against the Steelers -- a white Browns flag. But because some pointed out that it might be like they were already waving the white flags, the Browns decided against the giveaway item. "After further and careful consideration, we felt it was in the best interests of everyone involved that we not have a giveaway item at tomorrow's game," the team said in a statement. "It is something that was intended to be fun for our fans and that they could rally around and we regret that some didn't perceive it that way. We want to thank all of our fans for their tremendous support and we look forward to seeing them out in force at the stadium tomorrow."

What did they think a white flag meant? C'mon, if you don't know, go ask a Frenchman.

The new management isn't looking a lot sharper than the old management.

They should contract Cleveland. Not just the football team; the whole damn city.

I know, lame huh? Imagine not being able to come up with something that isn't a cheap knock off of the Steelers yellow crying towels.

Ok... Having a quarter of the fans waving white flags all game would have been awesome. I'm so sad someone caught it in time.

Um, the new management did not set that promo up, they are done months ahead of time, they stopped it. Give them a chance they have alot to fix, but are on the way with the owner actually caring about the team and showing up at games.

Don't forget the eggs!! I threw the egg from the dawg pound back when Denver switched ends of the field in the middle of the quarter...only second time in NFL history. Then I went home and listen to Elway cry on TV about it. Granted I was a stupid teen at the time, would not do it again, yet oddly feel no remorse!! :) 5 years in the pound....but batteries will actually hurt someone.... so make sure it is against the Steelers or Ravens.
