10:08 AM ET 11.25 | Evidently there is a starting pitcher out there who has San Diego high on his wish list. And it is not any of the names we've already heard: Dan Haren, Shaun Marcum, and Cleveland's Ubaldo Jimenez. Daisuke Matsuzaka, whose once promising U.S. career was sidetracked by elbow reconstruction surgery in 2011, has told members of the Japanese media that he likes the idea of possibly restarting in San Diego. It seems he liked the city and the ballpark when he pitched at Petco Park in the first World Baseball Classic.

Nor is he the Dice is right.

Yea, I want to pitch in San Diego too, but that ain't gonna' happen either. Japanese pitchers seem to be one-and-done types. They don't make adjustments once the hitters do. Must be the way they are trained in Japan. Only Nomo had a good journeyman's career.

wiseup: Apparently Dice K hasn't heard that S.D. Petco Park has moved in the fences and lowered the right field wall. The pitcher friendly park up to this year wont be as pitcher friendly. I dont recall how far in the fences were moved but ERAs will go up slightly.
