11:02 AM ET 11.25 | A transcript of a postgame news conference Saturday, Nov. 24, with University of Minnesota athletics director Norwood Teague, after Gophers football coach Jerry Kill suffered a seizure at halftime of his team's 26-10 loss to Michigan State at TCF Bank Stadium. Kill did not coach the Gophers in the second half: Teague said Kill suffered the seizure "at the end of the half, going back out to the field. It's a regular deal for him, and he's resting comfortably in the coaches' locker room right now. "I know this will bring up questions about him and moving forward, but we have 100 percent confidence in Jerry. We'll evaluate at the end of the year his health, and that mainly is for him, to continue to take care of himself, exercise, diet, eating right. The more he makes progress there, the more he'll make progress with his health in general. I feel very good about that."

It isn't good for the team or for Jerry for him to keep having these seizures during games. What gets me is that the Gophers dumped a HC (Glen Mason) who is the ONLY coach to have a winning record since Murray Warmath (and this includes Lou Holtz) and now they get to 6-6 and the AD has 100% confidence in him. This program deserves what it gets.

Mason did some good things for the Gophers. Brewster undid everything Mason had built. Kill has proven track record of building successful programs. If he can continue to function with his health issues, I expect the Gophers to continue to improve.

Hey River love the avi baby. Good to have another "NC" under our belt, eh? At least the way Alabama counts NC's.

If this does come to pass, the Legends will need to be rebalanced. Too many good teams. Wel'll trade you Minny and Northwestern for Indy and Purdont

Improving? Their 6 wins were over UNLV (2-11), New Hampshire (from the Colonial League), Left Michigan (4-8), Syracuse (7-5, their best W), Illinois (2-10) and Purdue (6-6). Kill has been there 2 years and has almost as many seizures as he has B1G wins.

Wait, you will get the Illini when cupcakes Maryland and Rutgers joins the leaders. Funny you think that though... the two of the top 3 teams (OSU & PSU) reside in the Leaders.
