01:57 PM ET 11.25 | One of the most devastating and inspirational stories of this NFL season forever will be the story of Chuck Pagano. It's hard enough to become a first time NFL head coach in this day and age, but imagine doing it with Leukemia. Since being diagnosed and treated for the disease, Pagano has made strides in his recovery and his team has rallied behind him. As a reward for the fight and the support, we may get the happiest payoff of all this season, as Chuck Pagano could return to the Colts' sideline for the season finale on Dec. 30. Pagano is ahead of schedule with his treatment and his final chemotherapy treatment is this upcoming Friday.

A lot of the players shaved their heads. They showed some cheerleaders shaving, too.

Now, get your minds out of the gutter and go watch some football.

Only thing better would be if a playoff berth were on the line for that game. That, and a bunch of shaved cheerleaders.

Great news on Pagano's health.

The last line about him being ahead of schedule on his treatment just makes me hope he's not rushing anything for the sake of football.

Football needs the occasional feel-good story to contrast with the weekly injury report. I wish him well.

Hopefully, he will coach in the Playoffs, that would be outstanding, it's grat to see how everyone is rallying around him!!!

On the other hand, why mess with something that seems to be working pretty well?
