03:12 PM ET 11.25 | Alex Smith is active for the San Francisco 49ers Week 12 game against the New Orleans Saints. Smith, the starting quarterback until this week, will be the team's No. 2 quarterback behind Colin Kaepernick, who will start. Smith has been recovering from a concussion and apparently has lost his job despite the injury. Smith will enter the game if Kaepernick goes down.

The guy has a winning record has the best quarterback rating and they bench him, it's going to take a lot for this team to work with this coach, they said Singletary was nuts, this guy is no better!

But he may be the QB who can take another hit without risking serious, permanent injury.

BB is the best coach in football, that's why he makes things work, when he replaced Bledsloe he was on the DL, theirs a big difference, players are funny, if it happens to him, it could happen to me!
