06:00 PM ET 11.25 | Despite watching his team pull off a thrilling win over Pittsburgh on Sunday, Cleveland Browns President Mike Holmgren will no longer remain in his current role going forward according to a report by Mary Kay Cabot of thePlain Dealer. The 64-year-old Holmgren has been tied to a number of other opportunities around the league, and was essentially forced out as the Browns assumed new ownership and potentially a front office overhaul. Though Holmgren's time with the Browns was expected to end at the conclusion of the season anyway, it's interesting the team would make this decision right now following such an impressive victory on the field.

Can NY be his next destination?

The way the Packers are self destructing, maybe he can come in and take over for McCarthy. I cannot believe his press conference saying, the team played poorly. No, the O line played to its capabilities and they are the worst sucking O line in football and all the coaching in the world ain't solving that problem Mr McCarthy. The Pack will lose its next four and possibly its last five games and miss the playoffs. This is not a playoff team.

Holgren would have probably had the Team in the playoffs next year, they played hard this year and were no pushovers. He probably already has his next job! Chargers or Jets, probably the west coast they have the better quarterback!
