12:45 PM ET 11.26 | New York Giants tight end Martellus Bennett said Sunday that he did not have a concussion after a hit to the head in the head in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's win over the Green Bay Packers. Bennett was hit on a third-down pass at the goal line by rookie safety Jerron McMillian, a play that drew a flag for unnecessary roughness. Bennett said after the game that he was given a concussion test, which he said he "passed like Doogie Howser." Bennett finished with 44 yards and three catches. He did not return to the game after the hit by McMillian.

He's a life saver, actually, with all the tight ends that the Giants have lost this year. Lived in the shadow of Witten in Dallas and got his chance to shine in NY.

Do we really need to know about every player who does not have a concussion? It's bad enough that there's a thread on every player who does have one.
