05:58 PM ET 11.26 | USC sophomore wide receiver and Heisman candidate Marqise Lee was selected as the Pac-12's Offensive Player of the Year for the 2012 season. Lee set school records and Pac-12 records for receptions and receiving yards in a season, with his 112 catches and 1,680 yards -- good for first and second in the nation in their respective categories. The 112 catches by Lee were just one more than teammate Robert Woods had in 2011 when he broke a record set by Keyshawn Johnson back in 1995, when ironically enough, he was selected as the Pac-10's Offensive Player of the Year. Marqise Lee is the 10th Trojan to win the award since the conference began awarding players in 1975, and the fifth to win it outright since the award was split into offense and defense awards back in the early 1980s. Matt Leinart and Reggie were both two-time offensive winners for Troy, as they shared the award in 2004 and won it outright in 2003 and 2005, respectively.

Will he win the Heisman though? Manti Te'o is a defensive player and Johnny TD is a freshman.
Who's that leave?

Nice to have a little "sunshine" in an otherwise "cloudy" year for the Trojans...!

Wow. Kinda surprised they got this one right. Would have thought they'd pick a Duck. IMO, Lee should win the Biletnikoff, hands down, as well.

I think problem was that there are 3 Ducks to choose from, whereas Lee (in light of Barkley's sub year and injuries) pretty much stood alone.

I agree, the Heisman voter base is still a bunch of stodgy old men who refuse to vote a frosh #1.... Colin Klein if he mangles the shorthorns???

What?? Lee had 5 receptions for 75 yards, while being mugged all night!!! Maybe that's not "great", but in my eyes, it ain't too shabby!!!

Yeah I watched with the sound turned down. It's amazing how ordinary players seem when you do that. A couple of passes, including a TD, were right there but it appeared he didn't see them.

That's cuz the Irish DBs were dragging him down any time the ball got thrown anywhere near him.
