01:12 PM ET 11.27 | Matt Forte's ankle injury suffered Sunday during the Chicago Bears' win over the Minnesota Vikings should not keep him out long-term. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the running back could miss Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks, however. Forte had 42 yards on 14 carries before leaving Sunday's game early in the third quarter. He has not scored a touchdown since rushing for 103 yards and a score against the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.

The Bears should rest Forte if they can. Bringing him back too soon only increases the chance of him getting more seriously injured. Let Michael Bush run the rock as much as he can.
