02:14 PM ET 11.27 | If the first few weeks of the season are any indication, Lamar Odom is well on his way to another lost year. After being banished by the Dallas Mavericks, Odom has averaged just 1.4 points per game for the Los Angeles Clippers this season. He's been out of shape and slow to pick up Vinny Del Negro's system. Nevertheless, Del Negro has no plans of pushing Odom even further down his depth chart. "I'm just trying to keep him engaged," Del Negro said. "He knows he needs to play better. He's lost some weight. He needs to lose more. I'm going to stick with him because in the long run he can give us something we need."

BS.... He had the best year of his career after they got married.. It was the nixed trade that "hurt his feelings" and then was involved in a fatal car accident a couple days later that killed a kid.. It's like he's mentally all F'd up, like he has PTSD or something... He's lost enterest in basketball ever since.. Not making excuses for him because honestly i think he needs to get over all that and grow up..................

Odom won't play better until he gets his man card back from Khloe.

I can't remember a player falling so fast (perhaps Phillip Rivers?).

Odom is more into his non basketball life. He is still a good player but his mind is not set on the game. He needs a wake up call. Clips should set the law down and move forward. Put him on the trading block to toronto or the wizards. Cleveland might be will to trade Anderson V if the clips through in some draft picks.

Lamar is just going through menopause(sp?).
